This is the view from our bedroom. We could also see the ice castle they had made. Nice view isn't it.
This is the Hotel that we stayed in. We were on the very top floor.

Here are some elk. These two were fitting, we could hear the horns hitting each other, it was neat.
This hawk and my hair are almost the same color. These bird were at the hotel where we were saying. It was cool to see them.

Here are some snails. They are the size of an apple seed. They only live in Canada but they don't have very many left.
Here some elk we saw right from the side of the road. They are in the National Park so nobody can shoot them.
This is the moose we saw. It not often they come to where we were. It was cool
All this is ice. You can hear the water runing and see the water under the ice, it was neat.
This is kinda of what the first hotel in Banff looked like.
Ruben and I just got back from a 5 day trip to Canada yesterday. We had five days away from our girls.
Ruth, Jessica, and Riley came down to watch them. It was great of them to do that Thanks Ruth and Jessica. We left Tuesday at about 11:30 and it took us three hours to get to Canada. When we got there we had to go through a long line with our passport and answer what ever questions they had. (lucky for us they just ask how long and what are we here for. After that we whent to go get our bag that we had check in and somebody had gotten our off for us and it was on the other side of where we were looking. We got our bag and headed out to go get our car.(boy wehn we walk out it was very cold -14 first thing I did was got my coat out so I can put it on.) We got our car and headed to Banff.
It took us an hour and half to get to Banff. So the first night we were their we didnt eat dinner with everybody who was there already (It was a Auto Owners who gave the trip to Garrett but he gave it to us. So they paid for the hotel room, dinner for 3 nights breakfast the whole time and the plane tickets) We got to our hotel at about 9:30.
The next day we had to get up early and get some breakfast and head back into Banff. (We stayed @ Lake Lousie Hotel wich is about 30 to 40 minutes drive from Banff) We had a tour of Banff that started @ 8:45 and was to last for about 3 hrs. It was great. We saw the first Hotle that was built there but it had burn down 3 times so the third one was king of lkie the old one.
The day after that we got to sleep in a little bit. But one ting we did not like at all was at 5:00 that morning the alarm whent off and it kept making noise and everything elses and that lasted about 10 min. so that why we slept in a little bit longer. We headed back into Banff that day cause we had a ice walk to go on and I think we like that one the best. we were the only one on that afternoon so we had our own tour guied. We had about a 3 mile hike in and out. But what made it hard was it was in the snow and most of it was up hill. (Boy was it hard on me than it was on Ruben and the tour guide.) That was about 4 hours long. When we were done and started to drive back. We saw a moose and some elks.
Then on Friday we went back into Banff and this time we just walk around town to see if we can buy anything fun to take home. We headed back to the hotel earlier that day cause I had an app. to go and get a masage done and that was great to. It put me to sleep. While I was doing that Ruben went for a hike up in the mountains in the snow.
The next day was time for us to come home and we were both ready to come home and I know that the girls were ready for us to come home to. But all in all it was great to get away and spend some good time with each other before this next baby comes. Here are some picture Ruben took while we were there. He said i could not but any on of him but of me and anything else is fine with him. Hope everybody else is doing great.
